About Niagara Peninsula Homes

We are a non-profit organization governed by a community-based Board of Directors. We currently offer property management services in Niagara and Hamilton areas and are members of The Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada, The Golden Horseshoe Co-operative Housing Federation, Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association Central Ontario Co‑operative Housing Federation and the Institute of Housing Management.

Our mission is to create, nurture and serve vibrant and diverse communities. We empower people within communities to help themselves through a process of training, planning and evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Over 40 years experience in housing development and property management
  • A well trained and experienced staff in all aspects of the services NPH provides
  • Experience in accommodating groups with special needs (e.g. women, First Nations, single parents, seniors and families)
  • Experience in providing housing for rent-geared-to-income households
  • Expertise in financial management
  • Instructors certified by the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada
  • Conflict resolution - group and individual
  • Expertise in community development
  • Expertise in community economic development
  • NPH carries full liability insurance and errors and omissions insurance
  • Staff on site are bonded and covered by workers compensation
